Built on the 4 Cs

US West Bridge is a regional EO chapter built around curiosity, courage, connection, and commitment. We are a community of passionate members sharing experiences, building meaningful relationships, and creating a sense of belonging, intimacy, support, and growth — bridging geographies, perspectives, and stages of entrepreneurship across the US West.

Curiosity

We pursue learning that expands how we see the world and how we lead. Every gathering introduces ideas, people, or environments that stretch us beyond our current perspective.

Courage

We step into the unknown and create experiences that challenge our thinking and behavior. We choose conversations and experiences that are unfamiliar or push us to grow.

Connection

We build real relationships grounded in trust, openness, and shared experience. We prioritize depth over surface, creating space for honest conversation.

Commitment

We show up fully — prepared, present, and engaged. This is not a passive membership. Time is valuable, and we treat every experience as worth that investment.

The Bridge Model

We don't operate like a traditional chapter. Instead of planning events in isolation, we connect across the US West — partnering with regional chapters, especially smaller ones, to bring bigger experiences to every member. When the Bridge co-hosts with a local chapter, both sides win: they get more members, shared resources, and a wider network. We get a richer experience rooted in local knowledge. This is how we build the regional identity the US West has been missing.

Mode 1

Amplify

We support and promote existing US West chapter events. Bridge members attend as a group, share learnings back, and serve as a megaphone for what's already working across the region.

Mode 2

Co-Host

We partner with regional chapters to jointly produce events — sharing costs, speakers, planning, and audiences. Together we create experiences neither chapter could pull off alone.

Mode 3

Originate

We create Bridge-led experiences that fill gaps no local chapter covers. Virtual programming connecting US bridge chapters. An annual gathering that defines the Spirit of the West.

Forum, Engagement & Learning

Because our members span geographies, industries, and stages of entrepreneurship, connection doesn’t happen by accident — we create it intentionally. Here’s how it works in practice.

Building relationships that matter

The greatest value in EO comes from trusted relationships. In traditional chapters those form naturally through geography and frequent interaction — Bridge builds them intentionally. That’s why forums sit at the center of everything we do.

Traditional Forums

A home for forums that work

Forums with strong chemistry can transfer to Bridge together — we provide a new chapter home while preserving what already works. As member density grows in a region, members can also form local forums that meet in person or in hybrid formats, experiencing the full power of forum while remaining part of a broader regional chapter.

Business Issue Forums

The on-ramp to forum

Open to new members, those not yet in a forum, and anyone wanting more engagement. Each session focuses on a real business challenge using the EO Experience Share model.

  • Immediate value
  • Lower commitment
  • Exposure to the forum process
  • New relationships & real-world insight
Forum Mashups

Instamacy

Members are intentionally mixed with entrepreneurs they may never otherwise meet and guided through a full forum-style experience. The result is what we affectionately call Instamacy — the rapid development of trust, connection, and belonging that normally takes months or years to create. For Bridge, this isn’t simply a retreat activity. It’s a foundational strategy for creating connection across geography.

Every member deserves a meaningful forum experience — whether through a traditional forum, a Business Issue Forum, or a Forum Mashup, Bridge is committed to helping everyone find connection, trust, and community.

From member to contributor

Bridge was never designed to be a passive membership experience. We believe the best chapters are built by members who actively participate, contribute, and invest in one another.

Navigators

Every new member is paired with a Navigator who helps them understand chapter opportunities, make introductions, find events, connect with other members, and accelerate their integration. No member should feel like they’re figuring Bridge out alone.

Relationship Building

Five relationships in 90 days

Our goal: every member builds meaningful relationships with at least five other Bridge members in their first 90 days — through forums, retreats, Speed Networking, Coffee Chats, Jeffersonian Dinners, learning events, Global Bridge connections, and MyEO groups.

Communication & Transparency

Informed members are engaged members

  • WhatsApp Community & chapter newsletters
  • Navigator outreach & chapter calendar
  • Event registration platform
  • Board updates & transparency initiatives
A Community of Contributors

What will you build?

Every member is asked one simple question: What meaningful contribution will you make to help EO US West Bridge succeed? Because Bridge is not something we consume — it’s something we build together.

The Concentric Circles of Learning

Our chapter experience is built around what we call the Concentric Circles of Learning — a framework that creates multiple pathways for engagement, from virtual sessions to immersive retreats. It radiates out from a core of deep, in-person connection.

Core

Chapter Retreats

At the center of the Bridge experience are immersive, multi-day gatherings designed to deepen relationships, expand perspective, and create the trust that fuels meaningful growth — featuring forum experiences and mashups, world-class learning, shared adventures, and time for reflection. We plan to host three retreats in our inaugural year and four annually going forward.

Co-Hosted Events

Bridge partners with chapters throughout EO US West to expand member access to programming, strengthen relationships across chapters, create new opportunities for collaboration, and bring diverse perspectives into the room.

Monthly Virtual Experiences

Not every meaningful interaction requires travel. Speaker series, expert panels, cross-Bridge events, learning sessions, and community conversations keep members connected between retreats.

Amplify

Bridge members regularly attend events hosted by other EO chapters as a group. Rather than recreating great experiences, we help members discover them — experiencing other chapter cultures, expanding their EO network, and learning from new perspectives.

EO Global Pathways

Bridge serves as a conduit to the broader EO ecosystem: EO Universities, Global Explorations, executive education, and leadership opportunities. Our goal is simple — help every member find the EO journey that is right for them.

The Member Journey

Joining the Bridge is joining a path, not a club. Each phase asks more of you — and gives more in return.

01

Orientation

Months 1–3

Understand the Bridge, find your people, attend your first cross-chapter experience. We'll personally onboard you and connect you to the community. Show up to one event in your first 90 days.

02

Engagement

Months 4–9

Deepen connections through co-hosted events and Forum. Explore EO global programs — from Stanford to Oxford. Attend a virtual cross-bridge event. Come prepared to contribute, not just consume.

03

Leadership

Months 10+

Give back. Co-lead a regional event. Mentor newer members. Help shape the Spirit of the West. You came to grow — now you help others do the same.

Membership

Bridge Chapter Membership

$2,730 / year
  • Includes access to 2 chapter retreats annually
  • Access to co-hosted events across US West chapters

Total Cost of EO Membership EO Global dues of $2,630/year are paid through your primary chapter and are separate from this fee. Dual members pay Bridge chapter dues in addition to their existing global and local chapter obligations.

EO US West Bridge welcomes dual members — entrepreneurs who are already members of a local EO chapter and wish to join Bridge as an additional chapter membership. Bridge membership is one flat rate regardless of member type. Note: the $2,730 Bridge dues are in addition to — not inclusive of — EO Global dues and any local chapter dues you already pay. If you are a dual member, you will continue paying your existing chapter and global obligations separately.
